Different
Ways Of Investing Money |
|
Before
you jump into any forms of investing money, it?s important that
you understand your own risk tolerance levels and your own
personal financial situation.
Some
investors are happy to receive low returns on a regular basis
simply because they are guaranteed returns. Other investors prefer
to take slightly higher risks in an effort to earn
higher-than-average returns on their money.
There
are so many different ways of investing money that it?s impossible
to say which one is the best option and which is the worst. What
matters is that you try to find the options that best suit your
own financial situation and your own financial goals.
Let?s
look at some different ways of investing money.
Cash
Deposits and Term Deposits
Leaving
your money sitting in a bank?s term deposit account might earn you
some interest on your money, but the returns will be lower than
some other options. However, a low return is sometimes better than
taking a risk of losing your money on other investment options!
Mutual
Funds
A
mutual fund is a collective investment where the funds from lots
of investors is pooled together to invest in various securities.
Fund managers control the investments and trading activities,
attempting to derive returns for the fund?s investors.
Bonds
Bonds
are a security where the issuer owes the investor a debt. The bond
holder is able to invest in various companies or even in federal
government bonds. Bonds are considered quite low-risk investments
by some investors.
Residential
Real Estate
There
are many different ways to invest in real estate. Investors can
either buy property with the intention of generating rental income
or hang on to the property over a period of time hoping their
capital value increases. Investors can also buy and renovate or
otherwise improve it with the intention of generating capital
growth, or perhaps buying property for the purpose of redeveloping
it.
Commercial
Real Estate
Investors
in commercial real estate generally purchase large commercial
properties, such as shopping malls or office buildings, and lease
them out to companies at a profit.
Stock
Market
Investing
in the stock market involves buying shares, or stocks, of large,
publicly listed companies. Day traders buy and sell stocks
rapidly, hoping to capture some of the short term gains. Long term
investors will buy shares to form an investment portfolio, either
to reap the dividend income or to reinvest the dividend returns
back into share reallocation to increase the portfolio further.
Gold
and Silver
Investing
in gold or silver doesn?t always mean owning big bars of shiny
metal and hiding them in your closet. Ownership can actually be
verified and transferred via certificates or shares. However,
Swiss banks may allow some customers to hold gold accounts in
order to conduct transactions using precious metal as currency.
Foreign
Currency Exchange
Investing
in the forex market is probably best left to investors who
understand how this volatile market works. Essentially, you trade
an amount of one currency for another country?s currency. When the
value changes, you exchange your currency back again, hopefully
realizing a gain once the transaction is complete. It is possible
to make substantial gains by trading on the forex market, it?s
equally possible to realize large losses too. It's also worth
noting that in some countries, profits generating by trading on
the forex market are capital gains tax free.
These
are just a few different ways of investing money. Before jumping
into any investment, always be sure it is in line with your own
personal level ofo risk tolerance. You should also be sure that
your investment choices are also in line with your own financial
goals. |

Different Ways Of Investing Money
Tuesday, July 2, 2013
It's time to recognize those who have failed. It may be the very best way to get them to succeed. An audacious idea.
by Dr. Jeffrey Lant
Author's program note. In 1962 one of
the grandest American musicals hit the cinemas of the Great Republic.
It was Meredith Wilson's "The Music Man"... and we got up
and marched as we heard its effervescent score. No high fallutin'
Eye-talian music you had to scratch your head about, understanding
hardly a word.
No, this was Iowa music, Kansas music,
music every last citizen of Tennessee and Oklahoma could understand,
every last word. As for the star, insinuating Robert Preston; we all
knew someone like him... scamp, con man, plausible trickster redeemed
by the love of a good woman.
Oh, yes, "The Music Man" was
something we could get our teeth into... which is why, a mere lad, I
was set the onerous task of mastering its "76 Trombones" on
the piano; for the next school recital. Anyone but a doting mother
and her unctuous piano teacher, who had wife and children (and, I
always thought, a bit of a drinking problem) to support would have
looked at me on that concrete piano bench (or so it seemed) and
blurted out the first words that came to mind: "He stinks!"
But those words were not heard until...
... the day of the school recital.
Kids good got up and did their bit...
that didn't take so long, since there weren't so many of them... and
it was obvious which ones had worked hard and deserved the top
prizes.
Then kids, carefully turned out in best
bib and tucker, got up and did their mediocre bit. A large chunk of
my classmates found themselves in this category; having done some
work, but not enough to reap the blue ribbons that said "First
Prize". They got the red ribbons... just good enough to assuage
anxious parents.
Finally, there were the kids who had to
be pushed -- umbrella ferule in the small of their back -- to get up
and recite... or dance... or play an uncooperative instrument. And I
-- and my ragged rendition of "76 Trombones" -- was in this
group... stinkers all. But awarded notwithstanding an Honorable
Mention and a few seconds of rousing, possibly even sincere applause,
lead by mothers who would never admit -- much less on school recital
day -- their little Hannah, Billie and Mike were anything other than
paragons; "most likely to succeed" tattooed on their
foreheads.
Privately, however, even some of the
mothers gave vent to the truth; being Midwestern they just couldn't
help themselves.... "They stink!" I heard them say... and
then "Jeffrey stinks!"
And so truth came to River City. Truth,
embarrassment, red-faced humiliation... which could not be assuaged
by any white ribbon that said Honorable Mention. It all poured out
now; how I was horrid... tone deaf... rhythm challenged... note
oblivious... absolutely hopeless.... hot words that caused my little
brother (who had a lifetime of Jeffrey plaudits to work through) to
dance with glee... "Ol' Jeffrey stinks." On this day of
days he just couldn't say it enough and knew a profound happiness
long deferred. He talks about it to this very day.
I was 15, I was humiliated, I was
determined this would not be the end of the story... .... and that's
why I won the next recital prize fair and square... because I was
resolved, and fiercely too, that "Jeffrey stinks" would not
be the last word on this subject...
... In other words, from abashment and
humiliation came triumph and reward. So it worked for me on the grave
matter of the school piano recital and so it is about to work for you
in your business. For I am about to urge that all your business
failures, slothful habits, egregious errors, failure to achieve
significant results; that all of these, things which have placed you
well and truly amongst the stinkers... be brought out... and
publicized to the world; thereby ensuring that your humiliation be
thorough and detailed...
Why?
So that you will do everything needful,
yes move heaven and earth, to ensure you are never, ever in that
shocking place again, your dunce cap retired, your name no more
ridiculed but revered, honored and extolled, which is the only way it
should be.
Consider how you did "business"
yesterday, the day before, the day before that...
Have you done the necessary to profit?
Did you get up early to handle all aspects of your
prospect-generating machine? Did you generate prospects? Follow up
(and especially telephone) prospects? Did you make offers, improve
offers, and improve these offers again until you had a deal and the
money that accompanies it? If so, you made money... and have every
right to be happy with yourself... for you are a true and faithful
business impresario and you deserve every penny and every compliment
you got.
You did get that profit and those
compliments, didn't you? Well, didn't you? If not, it's time for an
alternative approach to the business of helping you succeed in
business. It's time for the motivating Failure Awards, a kick in the
pants like no other.
Imagine the following scenario. You
wake up tomorrow, go to your website, and see emblazoned across it
these words
"You have just been dishonored
with the
BIG-TIME LOSER OF THE DAY PRIZE.
Trustees of the foundation have
selected you because you didn't do one darn thing yesterday,
absolutely nothing, to make money, generate leads, work with leads,
make offers, close deals and build your business.
Yep, you are on the bottom of the heap,
no money in the till and none expected or possible, until you change
the way you do 'business' so that you can profit from it.
Then you see a picture of yourself
festooned with mulish ears... with a caption that says simply
LOSER OF THE DAY... (then the date)."
Your reaction?
How will you feel when you see this?
I'll tell you, you'll fly into an unparalleled rage... condemning
everyone... everyone, that is, except the one person whose lack of
constructive endeavors got you there in the first place: that would
be you!
Your lack of effort got you this
(boobie) prize. It's only your constructive efforts that can get you
out.
But will you make them?
In my humble opinion you will do so
faster, with more energy and determination if you publish the
unpalatable truth, shining full, unyielding light on the success you
didn't get, letting the world see your inadequacies. You will hate
this situation and rightly so, for being amongst such a passel of
losers is humiliating indeed.
That's why you should award yourself
this egregious and sick-making award... and spend the rest of this
day and every day doing what is necessary to expunge it and reap the
substantial benefits which you'll get when you do.
Now go to any search engine. Play "76
trombones" and get in the mood for success, joy, and many happy
returns of the day, a day where failure is just a word in the
dictionary.

Creating A Business Plan For Starting Your Own Business
A professional business plan is
necessary when you want to start your own small business. There are
many reasons that not only banks but also investors require such a
document and this is to evaluate your objection for success,
financial proposals and operation guide for your new small business.
Business plans commonly have three
major sections plus the coversheet, table of content and an executive
summary. Your business plan should be in length according to your
small business. If it takes you numerous pages to explain the aspect
of your small business then so be it but keep in mind that people do
get tired of reading page after page of documents, try to decrease
the wording within your business plan as much as possible.
The following is some helpful
suggestions as you construct your professional business plan:
How many pages should my loan request
be?
Your small loan request should be ten
pages or less with adding in the attachments. If you are seeking a
small business loan, keep in mind that most formal lenders will
accept a summary sheet along with the loan application. You will
usually need three years of income as well as tax records for small
loans.
The business plan cover page
This page is solely for identifying
your business from the others. Include your business name, logo,
contact information, address, and the names of principals.
The business plan executive summary
This is nothing more than a summary of
the rest of the plan. It should be placed first within the business
plan but it placed last within the business plan. This page is what
investors and banks will most definitely read your business plans
turns into a sales proposal when presented to other people for
investment purposes.
Do not forget your supporting documents
Supporting documents are very
important. Ensure that you attach copies of these to the business
plan. These will be documents will prove your points on many topics
within the business plan. Also include any professional licenses you
might have, contracts, resume?s, leases or even company brochure?s
you might have created for the business you want to start.
Promotional material is always a good addition as well.
Hiring a professional to construct your
business plan
Let us face it; starting a small
business can be very demanding as well as stressful. If you do not
want to deal with the actual writing of a business plan to present to
possible investors then look into hiring a professional strategic
consultant to perform this for you. Keep in mind this will cost
sometimes large fees and most strategic consultants charge by the
hours. Make sure you examine the contract carefully while reading
the small print.

How To Pick a Legitimate Home Business Opportunity
|
How
To Pick a Legitimate Home Business Opportunity |
|
You've
seen the emails, the offers, the promises and the claims. Everyone
it seems has a way to help you make money online.
But
how do you know who you can trust? How do you know what system
works? How do you protect yourself?
The
fact is that you CAN earn money online from legitimate sources,
here's what to look for when picking an online business
opportunity.
Products
or Services with actual value
Many
companies including large companies like Amazon and ClickBank
offer what is known as an Affiliate marketing program, or
sometimes called a Reseller program. This allows you to promote a
company's products or services and earn a commission when a sale
is made through your website link. The key in knowing what is
legitimate is to be sure you are actually promoting a real
product, or a digital product, or an actually service. Beware of
selling anything that seems without substance, and has no real
market value. An example of something suspect would be getting
paid to recruit people into a program who have not paid any money
to do so. All business online and off works when there is an
exchange of money for a product or service. Pyramid schemes exist
online and off and are an example of focus on recruitment into a
program rather then the sale of an actual product. In the case of
a pyramid scheme, and example is someone paying to join a program
but receives no product or service of REAL value in return. In
short, make sure that you are actually selling something of value.
Customer
Service and Support
Legitimate
companies that sell actual products and services will support or
service what they sell. In other words, good companies will have a
Customer Support Department, or a Service Department or Technical
Support division to assist customers who have either bought a
product or intend to do so. Reputable companies offer this support
in any number of ways, online chat, support forums, Twitter,
Facebook, telephone support, or online support.
Time
in business
Legitimate
business opportunities most trustworthy are often those that have
stood the test of time. On the web it is very easy to set up a
company, sell questionable products and services, then disappear
into the night when the business practices come into question.
When picking an online business opportunity select a company that
has been around for at least a few years. Companies that continue
to exist are usually those that demonstrate an interest in keeping
their customers happy, are accountable, and adhere to policy and
legislation that permits them to provide a product or service.
Reputation
When
picking a reputable business opportunity people will often look to
review sites for feedback from others. This can offer you some
interesting details about what people think about a company and
how the company responds to complaints. In reading the reviews
though keep an open mind knowing that no company exists without
complaints against it. Good companies that you would want to
associate with, are those that try to address customer complaints
or resolve issues brought to their attention. People with an axe
to grind will sometime post negative reviews and hide in the
anonymity of that post. So be smart when reading review sites, and
look for dates, patterns or themes and try to separate the
intelligent comments from the less helpful and questionable ones.
Look
before you leap
When
you decide on which business opportunity you wish to join, be sure
to take your time and read over what you are agreeing to before
you sign on the dotted line or hit the submit button. Determine
what your up front cost is, your monthly cost (if any), your
ongoing cost? What happens if you want to cancel, is there a
guarantee, or is there any long term obligation or a penalty for
cancelling? Find out how your sales will be tracked, how often
will you paid, for which services and how will you be paid.
In
summary, here are 5 questions to ask yourself for any company you
are considering for a home business opportunity.
1.
How long has the company been in business? What is their
reputation?
2.
What is the product or service you will be selling? What is the
value in the market place? There should ALWAYS be a product or
service being sold.
3.
What is the initial cost to get started in the business? What do
you get for that amount of money? What are the ongoing costs?
4.
What kind of support or service will you receive as an Affiliate
Marketer or Reseller for the company to help you make sales? What
kind of support of service will the people you refer receive when
they make a purchase?
5.
How much money are you paid by this company when you make a sale,
how often, and how will your sales be tracked?
These
questions and information contained within are a guideline to help
you make a smart decision about an online business opportunity
that is right for you.
One
final bit of advise. Once you have found a company to represent be
sure to be realistic about your earnings and accept some
responsibility for your own success. At the end of the day, your
success comes down to you, and your efforts. It won't matter what
business opportunity you select if you don't take the time to
learn about the program, learn how to market online, and make an
honest consistent effort to build your own success.
I
hope this has helped you so you can select one or more legitimate
companies and you can join the growing population of people making
money at home using the power of the web. |

Review: LIVE Home Business Bootcamp with George Kosch June 14, 2013.
|
Review:
LIVE Home Business Bootcamp with George Kosch June 14, 2013. |
|
George
Kosch, bootcamp instructor welcomed Worldprofit Members to the
LIVE training session.
The
number one question we hear is, "How do I make money online?"
Followed by "What's the key?"
The
way to make money online is by building a list.
Making
money online is an ACTION you must take consistently to generate
leads and make sales. Without a list you have no one to sell your
products and services. You have no one to buy what you are
offering.
So
how do you build a list?
You
use landing pages to generate leads with an optin to your
list/newsletter.
How
do you get people to see your landing pages so they can optin to
your list?
You
must promote consistently. Your focus in earning online should be
100% on promotion.
At
Worldprofit we teach you how to generate leads, and build your
list. In the Worldprofit system leads are referred to as free
Associate members. The concept, the requirement to generate leads
from consistence promotion is fundamental to selling ANYTHING
online. We teach you how to do so within the Worldprofit
framework, but what we teach you to do, and the resources and
tools we provide can be applied to building any online business,
and selling any product or service.
You
need to ask yourself each day, how many free Associate Members
(leads) have I generated today from my promotion (landing pages)?
To see a conversion to sales you need to work on this every day.
When
you are signing up free Associate members you are also building
your list. Remember you can sell anything you like to your list.
Worldprofit provides you with a number of your own list options,
and don't forget we send a newsletter out to ALL Associates on
your behalf with incentives, offers and specials to encourage
logins.
When
you have a growing list you can make sales from your list. George
referenced several income streams within your Member area as an
example, the CB Maximizer, the Offer Builder, the Money Maker kit
and the FastCash program.
DISCUSSION:
Got something else you want to promote? A product or service of
your own? Here's what to do.
So
now that you understand the value of the list and the critical
importance of consistently working to build that list you should
start to see how you use that list to promote any product or
service you like! The larger the list the higher the likelihood of
seeing sales.
The
list provides you with the power and ability to:
-generate
leads -make sales -benefit from leverage (buy this and get that)
-do ad swaps with OTHER list owners (expand your marketing reach)
-use your list to promote whatever you like, affiliate programs,
products, services, your own stuff etc.
DEMONSTRATION
and discussion: George demonstrated how to send out a promotion
New
product Announcements
George
revealed two new products coming soon.
1.
The Easy Deal Builder. We've purchased a developer's license from
this vendor as we like this software so much and want to make it
available to our Worldprofit Members. This product will help you
easily promote your own sites allowing you the power of leverage
and list building to make more sales - of whatever you are
selling. We will do the installation and set up which can be
difficult for non-techies. Planned release by end of June at a
discounted rate exclusively for Worldprofit Silver and Platinum
VIP Members.
and
2.
The Advanced Ad Tracker. Silver and Platinum VIP Members currently
get the Ad Tracker included in the Silver and Platinum VIP
Membership at no cost and we will continue to do this. We are
however, developing an ADVANCED version of this software for more
serious experienced marketers who require more detailed ad
tracking analysis and data summaries. We are working on this now
and will be releasing this mid-summer at a discounted rate
exclusively for Worldprofit Silver and Platinum VIP Members.
DISCUSSION:
The Millionaire Mindset - the growth of a business.
George
provided the example of the farmer who decides he wants to make
money growing apples but has only one tree. He isn't happy with
just a few apples and a little profit. He learns he must plant
more trees to get more apples. It takes a while to grow the trees
and get the apples, there is no such thing as INSTANT apples. Then
he has to nurture those trees, buy fertilizer, work hard to
increase his apple harvest, invest in equipment to farm his
orchard, find people to buy his apples. If you want more apples
(and more money) you have to invest, put in the time, and work
your business consistently to make it grow.
DEMONSTRATION:
At request of a member, George provided a demonstration of how to
use Safe-Swaps.
Summary:
The
recording of the July 14, 2013 Home Business Bootcamp will be
posted within 24 hours to the Worldprofit Member area.
Next

5 Benefits to an Internet Marketing and Advertising Company
| ||||||||||||||
Wednesday, June 26, 2013
Cashless Society-Never See One Red Cent
|
Cashless
Society-Never See One Red Cent |
|
There
are probably plenty of people today that think the moves that are
being made to a cashless society are good ones. They get their
paycheck directly deposited into their bank account and then use
their debit card to make purchases.
If
they have truly set up their own little cashless society they
probably pay their bills online as well. They never see one red
cent, they never hold a dollar bill in their hands anymore and
they do not even have a checkbook either.
Everything
they do and buy is with that little plastic card they get from the
bank.
I
for one still like the idea of having some bills and coins in my
pocket, it makes me feel more secure. That may sound silly but I
work hard for my money and like to see some of it on occasion.
There
is even a more advanced form of being able to make purchases on
the rise today as well. Cell phones.
You
have most likely seen the commercial of the guy sitting in his
chair, then realizing he has to go to the bank he gets up and gets
into his hat and coat only to realize once more that all he has to
do is take a photo of both sides of his check and send the photo
to the bank to make his deposit. Then he removes his hat and coat
and sits back down.
I
agree that this sounds like a neat idea but then I think, why has
he not just set up direct deposit with the company he works for?
Maybe this works for third party checks as well but they make the
commercial seem like it is his weekly paycheck.
I
guess that in this ever growing, ever changing digital world this
is called progress.
Then
there are all of those restaurant and retail store gift cards and
reloadable cash cards, too. Some of the cash cards are not
reloadable but the idea is still there. You can usually purchase
one of these cards for one of three set denominations from $25 to
$100.
They
are put out by the two major credit card companies Visa and
Mastercard and can be used just about anywhere and for anything.
All that is required of the user is to register the card online or
by phone to activate it. Much like activating a credit card.
If
everyone has the ability to pay for things they want
electronically, almost no one would need a credit card. Buying
small things on credit could possibly become a thing of the past.
Major
purchases like buying a house or a car would still require a
person to have a good credit rating but maybe consumers would stop
getting themselves in way over their heads if they found it easier
to live within their means.
Having
instant access to their bank balances and the ability to pay using
their cell phone could make the idea of a cashless society a
reality sooner than anyone thinks. |
