Time To Go To Old Skool: Your Real Business is Marketing

So, the kiddies returned to school on Tuesday (9/8/09) to
learn the fundamentals of education: reading, writing
and math (can’t spell Arithmetic). Yep, scholastic principles
are being taught to kids so as to prepare them to work for
somebody, but not themselves. Now, some schools are
beginning to offer courses on personal finance, but nothing
of true substance because their mandate is preparing young
minds for a job and not owning and operating a business.

Now, your education as a marketer, entrepreneur, business
owner, etc., is focused on owning and operating your own
business, because it’s the most efficient and effective means
to making money. Yes, it’s about the green stuff, but the
process of learning to make the MONEY is the critical factor
in your education. After all, the concept of the Life Long
Employee is now a myth and one must seek retraining to
produce products/services that generate income.

Your most important lesson about money making begins
with learning the principles of Marketing. “Simply stated,
marketing is everything you do to place your product or
service in the hands of potential customers”. “It includes
diverse disciplines like sales, public relations, pricing,
packaging, and distribution”. “Marketing is your strategy
for allocating resources (time and money) in order to
achieve your objectives (a fair profit for supplying a good
product or service)”.

So, have you begun your training in marketing so as to
learn how to generate consistent, predictable and
long-term residual income? If not then, it’s time to
take action; otherwise, you will eventually, be operating
a Non-Profit Agency and become an victim of the MLM
Cemetery. More importantly, it’s important to recognize
that you don’t make money with your opportunity, but
Money is made through MARKETING.

Remember: the individual with the best-developed skills and when applied generate the most income.
