Loads Of Ideas For Making Video Marketing Easier

Loads Of Ideas For Making Video Marketing Easier

Have you ever though about promoting your business through video marketing? There is much more to it than just uploading videos and creating their destination. You must consider the different aspects of video marketing in order to be successful. Continue reading for a helpful guide when it comes to using video marketing techniques and strategies to help promote your products.

If you are too shy to show your face on the screen, you should try using something like Google Search Stories to help you. This is a good way to show your users all of the pertinent information you need to without worrying about having to show everyone your face.

Consider what others are wanting when they are searching for videos. Most people are looking for something entertaining as well as informative. If you are explaining how to do something, use inflections as you talk and give information that others may not know. It is also beneficial to show how to do something while talking.

If you have a brick and mortar store, don't think online videos can't work to promote your business. They can, and do. Start with a video tour of your shop, introducing yourself and showcasing your best products and services. Done correctly, video marketing can help personalize your business and reach new customers. So, turn on that camera and show the world why they should trade at your shop.

Do your best to create a video that conveys a professional image. This means you should avoid using the effects available on programs such as Windows Movie Maker and other basic software. Keep your editing simple by simply cutting or dissolving to a black screen instead of using standardized editing effects.

Place your video content on YouTube and link it back to your website. This can help your video be seen by a wide audience and potentially get shared and moved to the front page. The kind of exposure that YouTube provides, partly because it is owned by Google, is huge.

The most searched for topic online is how to do something. When you create one, you will be able to help people while showcasing your product. When they know you are an expert, they'll come back for more.

Explore Google Search Stories. This tool allows you to show your audience different things on Google such as results for a certain search query, pictures and maps. This could be a good way to document your online presence, show your audience your featured blog posts or create a guide to assist customers as they order your products.

Try to be honest and real in your videos. Unless the video is a professional video, it's okay to be imperfect. Practice your material before shooting and then go for it. You don't need to worry about editing out every little imperfection because people will see that you're honest and that they can relate to you. Just focus on getting the message across in a clear and concise manner.

Great audio and video equipment makes for a great video. If you use old crappy equipment, you'll get an effect you might not expect. That doesn't mean that effect isn't what you want, so play with the equipment you use until you get the video which matches the tone you wish it to have.

Now you should have a better idea as to how to use the different video marketing strategies to increase your profits. There was probably much more to video marketing than you thought right? Well, it's time to put your plan into action, and make those techniques work for you and your business.

Looking To Design A Website Try These Ideas

Looking To Design A Website Try These Ideas

Website design can be intimidating if you don't know much about the field. After you complete a few projects, you will improve your skills and find that it is not as difficult as it seemed. The tips which follow can help you to learn what you need to know to get started.

Make sure your site passes the NoScript test. Download and activate the NoScript extension for Firefox and see if your site is still readable. Some content, such as ordering systems for products, can't work without scripts, but if your site is simply blank with scripts turned off, that's bad news.

It may look pretty, but stay away from having too many animations on your site. Having your sales splash page rotate, spin and blink may look cool to you, but it will likely drive potential viewers away. When you add too many flashy splashes like that, it makes your site look amateurish which is not the message you want to convey.

Never underestimate the value of a site that is simple for visitors to navigate. Place your links so they can be found easily. Menus are another way to make site navigation easier on your site. Make sure that links to your main pages are on each page in your site so people can find their way no matter where they are.

White space is an important part of web design, so don't be afraid to use it. Cluttering up your web pages with too many images or too much text, or using a distracting background, will only irritate your visitors. White space can make the important elements of your page more visible.

If you believe your site may be accessed via mobile devices, you will want to keep your designs simple. The use of flash, excessive images, and complicated menus will not translate well to a mobile platform. Keep your page clean and simple, or create a specific mobile site for your users.

It does not matter how you have designed your website; you have to make sure that every file has a small file size. The reason behind this is because the file sizes will affect how fast your website loads. A website that loads more quickly is always a top priority in web design. You must also be aware that everyone doesn't have a high speed connection to the Internet. You want to perform a test to make sure your site performs well, even with dial-up modem connections.

Make sure everything is easy to locate on your website. Spend some serious thought on how everything on your site will be laid out. When content is randomly thrown on your site with little thought to the layout, you are making things harder for the people whose use of your site ensures your online success - your site visitors.

For your image tags, always try to include a brief description in the ALT attribute. Not only is this good for search engine optimization, but it is also beneficial to the sight-impaired users who rely on screen readers to describe image tag contents. Make your description short and as descriptive as possible.

While development platforms can ease the coding process, many are not as efficient as a plain old text editor. What a platform does is help you paste the code onto features that you have made. However, if you're wanting to minimize errors and have an excellent experience, you need to utilize a text editor.

As you can see, there is nothing mysterious about web design. It will be simple for you to create inspiring websites if you continue to learn about the technologies involved. If you just apply the techniques in this article, you should be up and running in no time.

At A Social Media Marketing Loss Try These Tips To Jumpstart Your Brand

At A Social Media Marketing Loss Try These Tips To Jumpstart Your Brand

At one point in time, many businesses viewed the world of social media as a playing ground for kids. Those days are long gone. In today's society, social media sites provide a valuable tool for marketing and branding any business. With such a level of importance placed on these sites, it is equally important to make your social media marketing plan an effective one. In this article we will give you a few tips for starting out right.

Near the top of your blog, add a Facebook "like" box. People will find it easier to like your page and give you more of a fan base. When you have this box on your blog, it makes it easy for your visitors to show their appreciation without being distracted from your page. This makes it simple for people and helps expose your presence more.

To help you attract more visitors, you should promote your site through niche social media sites. What's great about niche social media sites is that they can send you a lot of targeted traffic. Even if the niche site is small, it can still send you quality visitors who are more likely to purchase something from your site because they already have an interest in your product.

To create social media marketing materials that get noticed, learn how to write attention grabbing headlines. It does not matter how good your products or pieces are unless the headline is good enough to draw in a reader. Facebook fans are skimming over many posts within their feed. How do yours stand out worthy of a closer look?

Provide a way for people to sign up for email alerts when you post new blog posts. Whether you're just putting up a post rehashing a previous topic or writing about a new product, giving followers a way to stay connected works, even if this type of social media marketing is more recognized as older way to utilize Internet marketing.

Patience is necessary when creating a network through social media. It is extremely unlikely that you will have thousands of followers on your first days. It has happened in rare occurrences, but it is unlikely that you will receive viral following in just one night. Provide good content, frequently update your page and interact with your visitors and in good time you will gain a substantial following.

When dealing with social media marketing, make sure you are remaining active. You need to be seen if you want anyone to follow your profile. If you don't have any activity, then your social media campaign is not going to succeed. Being active can spark the interest of your followers and help you be more successful.

You will be more successful if you can come up with new and interesting content. People will share something they believe is worth their time or provokes a pleasant reaction. Look at successful campaigns and identify the type of content that people will want to share with their friends on social networks.

Social media is an immediate way to disseminate information globally. It can be used to effectively market and brand your unique product or service, and provide you with exposure to millions of potential customers. In the preceding paragraphs, a number of fundamentals about social media marketing were covered.

Do you know how to produce content that gets people worldwide to respond -- FAST? Read this and you will! The Master reveals his secrets!

Do you know how to produce content that gets people worldwide to respond -- FAST? Read this and you will! The Master reveals his secrets!

by Dr. Jeffrey Lant.

Author's program note. I'm going to do something quite different in this article; something unique, unprecedented, unheard of until now. I'm going to share -- for the first time ever -- my trade secrets about how I produce the best and most responsive content anywhere; the content that gets people like you to stop in your tracks, whatever you're doing, no matter how important, read what you've written... and respond to it.

Once you learn how to do it, you'll use this invaluable skill over and over again... becoming more and more proficient each time, until you become a master too, a brand name, a recognized authority, someone people want to know about, pay attention to; quite simply the consummate master of your craft, constant deference, increasing rewards, recognition and admiration your part, and rightly so. Of course, we'll need a little magic to make this happen; such magic is useful at any time. Now repeat after me...

" Salagadoola mechicka boola bibbidi-bobbidi-boo/ Put 'em together and what have you got/ bibbidi-bobbidi-boo".

These are of course the words of my colleague Fairy Godmother, from the 1950 Disney production. She was, you'll recall, the kind-hearted, sympathetic darling who, in record time, organized everything necessary to rush a radiant Cinderella to the ball... and her prince.

You'll find the song in any search engine. Play it to yourself two or three times... sing it out loud. But don't share it with anyone just yet. After all, they may be a certified scoffer, gruff, dismissive, unhelpful... and that will never do. Bibbidi-bobbidi- boo. "It'll do magic believe it or not." Believe... it's the first and crucial step to achieve.

Pick your subject.

Creating content that gets maximum response starts with your subject, what you're writing about. Here are some suggestions: It should be timely, of interest and importance to the kinds of people you want to respond (future customers!), and most of all be a subject you either know something about already or one you are prepared to research, to add depth, resonance and layers of meaning.

The last article I wrote just yesterday (one of over 1000 I've penned in the last three years or so; all available at jeffreylantarticles.com) was on... marigolds. Does this seem to you to be an unlikely topic to knock out of the park? Dubious? Then think again! There are millions of people worldwide who grow marigolds, use health and beauty products derived from marigolds, and honor them in their obsequies and solemn rites of passage into eternity, particularly along the great river Ganges,1569 miles long, its muddy waters flecked by the bright brilliance of golden marigolds, beloved of the Virgin, the gift of countless pilgrims along the way.

Outline your content.

To write superior content, content that motivates response, you must create a superior outline. Here's how to do that. Brainstorm just what you want in your content; then do a preliminary outline. Don't worry too much now about whether the points you want to make are in the right order. Worry instead that you have written them down. Never, ever trust to imperfect memory. . Once you have all the points you wish to include, arrange them in the right order, the order that builds your case. To see what I mean, go to jeffreylantarticles.com and peruse several articles there. As you do, think on this. This teeming site, content capital of the world, now gets over 1,000,000 hits a month and should be a "must" destination for anyone who understands the importance of content and wishes to master its every nuance, profiting accordingly. That would be you, right? Bibbidi- Bobbidi-Boo.

The joy and necessity of careful research.

I am a trained researcher with a Ph.D. from Harvard University. It took me seven meticulous and arduous years to achieve. I had to identify, travel to, work in and rely upon the arcane resources of dozens of private and public document depositories in several countries. My life was a demanding and insistent process composed of passports, tickets, incomprehensible pre-Euro currencies, strange accommodations with lumpy mattresses (and too often voracious bedbugs). As for food... I can even now remember, and luridly recite if you like... the various collywobbles to which I gave way en route to being elevated into the peerage of learning.

That was then; this is now.

These days my continuous researches are vast, detailed, up-to-date, best of all the work of minutes, with nary a plane to (wait for) and catch... or odoriferous train, the malfunctioning toilet making its noisome problem known to all and always over shadowed by one frightening question, "Have you seen my typewriter and my notes!" "I thought you had them when we changed trains."

In our wired age research is easy, universal, distinguished by its celerity, thoroughness... and a researcher who now never looks like he slept in his clothes in the Iruna station, assaulted by fantastic mosquitoes and suspicious border guards, the jack booted minions of Generalissimo Franco, a man whose sole idea about intellectual endeavors of every kind (and the research on which they were based) was to crush, curb and curtail them.

The Internet has changed all that forever... and I, for one, am profoundly glad.

Now it's time to write.

My mother, bless her soul, had a million pet sayings, each one a little gem of pithy insight. As for writing, she'd say, for she was a scribbler, too, "Having written is better." What she meant, of course, was that the business of writing was often hard, frustrating, exasperating, not infrequently infuriating, and always something demanding full heart, soul and brain. In short, writing is never a piece of cake you can do half asleep and hung over from the night before.

Such writers, who take the demons of people like F. Scott Fitzgerald and Jack Kerouak as their inspiration and models, talk a good game about writing... but are more notable for their volubility on the subject than their productive output. You need another point of view, more practical, utilitarian, productive not to mention profitable.

Write every day, every single day... without fail or "reason" why you didn't.

People who understand the power and potency of content are people who do the necessary every single day to create it. That would be -- me... and is why in the past three years I have, remember, written and published over 1,000 articles, available for you and the world to see and use at jeffreylantarticles.com. How did these articles get written? Easy.

Yes, I wrote on days when it was blistering hot. I wrote on days when my nimble fingers froze, sticking to my computer's chilly keys. I wrote on days of national triumph... and on the many days of national confusion. In short, I wrote, no excuses, no special pleadings, no reasons why I couldn't, shouldn't and mustn't.

In short, I wrote on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays... on all the days. Thus with near military efficiency as I wrote words, so I wrote the superior content that got better and better still, the more I wrote... silky, smooth, sleek, the champaign of money-making language.

Will you do as much? You certainly won't with the poor habits you now evince in the high and important business of creating content that sells... for what you produce is directly related to the habits you have and yours are nothing to write home about.

"What me worry?"

Years ago "Mad Magazine" featured on its cover a lout named Alfred E. Newman. Everything about him was obnoxious, irritating, an affront to good parents everywhere and their goody goody rug rats. To these good people Alfred E. posed the question of the centuries, "What me worry?" It was impertinent, insolent, and wildly popular with other louts. (It also made the copy writer who coined this golden phrase a millionaire many times over.)

However YOU are not a lout... and you do worry and rightly so. Fortunately you have not only a useful friend in me but you have a direct line now to Fairy Godmother, who's no mean shakes in the content department, just ask those mice transformed into the most magnificent of coach horses. She has magic for you and to spare. I think I see her pointing her magic wand at...... you... Oh, yes, she is. Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo!

The Right E Commerce Marketing Techniques

The Right E Commerce Marketing Techniques

Finding right E commerce marketing techniques is important. Many people underestimate how important it is to their business to have a solid marketing plan in place.

Some people think that when they put their website online people will find it and start coming in droves. That may have been true when the internet was new but not so anymore.

Today there are millions of sites online, in order for your site to get found you need to implement the right E commerce marketing techniques so your site stands out and gets noticed.

Don't worry, it's not really difficult though there are many different components that you must learn and implement.

Some basic internet marketing skills will serve you very well. It is also important to remember that the search engines make changes frequently and you need to keep up with those changes. If you don't, you may find a decrease in your traffic.

Most smaller internet marketers are steering away from many paid traffic sources such as pay per click (PPC). Though this method can be effective it is very expensive and difficult to properly implement. While you are learning and honing your skills you are paying a lot of money. Since most new businesses don't have really deep pockets this may not be the best option for them.

Instead, why not use the highly effective free methods to get more traffic to your site? Things like search engine optimization (SEO) with link building can allow you to get a high rank for your site for a specific keyword. This free traffic is called organic traffic and it is highly targeted and since it is free you don't have to worry about going broke while you are honing your skills.

The concept is pretty simple: you pick several keywords to describe what your site is about. You can do keyword research with the free Google keyword tool. You are looking for highly relevant phrases that have relatively low competition and high monthly search volume.

When you find a dozen or so of these keywords you can use them right on your site to let the search engines know just what your site is all about. You can include these keywords in the description of your site but also in the content you add to your site.

When you add a new piece of content such as a video or an article, you can place one or more of these keyword phrases in that content.

Another thing you can do is to build back links to your site. A back link is simply when one site links back to another site. In this case you are getting other sites to link to your site. One of the most common and effective ways to do that is to submit articles to other sites and include a link in that article to your site. Making the link one of your keywords is even more effective.

These techniques will allow you to do the work once but continue to drive traffic to your site. The right E commerce marketing techniques will include as many free techniques as possible. After all, if the traffic you get is free the profit you make from each sale will be a lot higher.

How To Generate Traffic Using Squidoo

How To Generate Traffic Using Squidoo

Squidoo is an online, popular website, which allows users to
create lenses that are actually pages to convey content on
various topics.

Squidoo is used widely by website owners and online marketers for
its ability to attract a large amount of viewers and direct
traffic to accompanying webpages.

When using Squidoo to generate traffic to your webpage, it is
important to match the Squidoo lens to the genre of your topic.

For example, if you have a site selling pet clothing, create a
lens on Squidoo with pet clothing or photos of pets to make the
lens more relevant to your site.

An attractive, user-friendly Squidoo page can garner more
visitors than one that is bland and run-of-the-mill.

Create a hyperlink for your site on the Squidoo lens on the first
and last paragraph of the page, this gives viewers the ability to
visit your site after reading the Squidoo lens description.

With a hyperlink on your Squidoo lens, you ensure that people
have access to the site you want to promote, generating even more
organic traffic.

Statistics show that sites on the front page of Google have a 95%
chance of being clicked, while sites on the second page of Google
have only a 5% chance of being clicked.

Use exciting and informative content on your Squidoo lens to
attract and maintain a constant slew of visitors, with all the
content available on the Web, you want to stand out, be unique
and give visitors something refreshing, which can only help
generate more traffic to your site.

Use Squidoo marketing to place a sticky note on your lens or make
use of a module to direct visitors to your site, always make it
appear naturally and following text that describes the genre and
niche of your site and why visitors should view it.

Google Keyword Research

Google Keyword Research

When you do Google keyword research there is a wonderful keyword tool that they have for you to use. Their keyword tool lets you wade through a whole database of words and phrases to help you find your niche and the best keyword to put to use for that niche.

Not only can you find the best keywords to use to bring traffic to your site you can also research statistics of that keyword to see how many searches it gets every month. The best keyword is one with little competition and a high search volume.

This may take some time but sometimes, if you look long and hard enough, you might just find a keyword that will be just like finding a little nugget of gold good enough to bring you all the riches you desire.

Here is what you do:

Open a new tab on your browser and go to the Google keyword research tool located at "adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal." Type in the keyword you want to start with then type in the captcha letters and lick the search button.

What will come up is a list of related words and phrases the tool generates for you to choose from. Like I said choose a keyword or phrase that has low competition and a high search volume. Picking one that has a high competition will not allow you to rank high on the search results pages.

Now, when you find one that you think is a good one, check how your keyword for trending. Put your mouse over the keyword or phrase and then click on the spyglass icon. Google Trends will show you when, during the entire year, your search term is the most popular.
This is a great feature if you have picked a niche that is seasonal.

The next thing you should do is go to Google and type your chosen keyword into the search bar. How many ads do you see on the right hand side of the results page? If there are less than five then you should keep looking for another keyword to use. Less than five means that this is probably not a good niche because no one is searching for it.

If there are five or more ads on the right hand side of the results page then you are golden and this is a keyword you should keep and use.

The keyword tool will also show you how much your keyword is making per click. The average CPC for a good keyword is anything above $0.50 per click. You want to make money right? Then pick your keywords carefully and make sure that they have a higher CPC.

Google keyword research tool was the basis of another company's study on the top 20 highest CPC keywords. "Insurance" tops that list of keywords with over 24% of all keywords used and a CPC of over $47. That is absolutely insane! You would probably never find a good keyword to use in that niche but if you did, WOW! You would be laughing all the way to the bank.

Wordpress Marketing Explained

Wordpress Marketing Explained

Wordpress Marketing software is one of the powerful tools for web business owners today. It is considered an open-source tool. It began in 2003 and since then has become one of the most commonly used software in the blogging and internet world today.

Today Wordpress marketing software has the ability to handle any content management for just about any site and has the ability to create just a blog to a fully fledged website. The choices with Wordpress Marketing software are endless.

There are skins and themes available or you can create your own customized pieces and add them in. Due to the fact that Wordpress is open end software there are literally millions of people that are creating their own themes and skins for use on their websites or blogs. There are also several thousands of coders that create ad-ons for the Wordpress Marketing software that will allow it to create just about any type of web page that you can think of.

To get started you are going to need to find a web hosting company that is able to run PHP software that is version 4.3 or better. You can also use MYSQL 4.0 or higher. Wordpress also recommends that the server that you choose also runs on Apache or Lightspeed servers hosting software.

If you use Wordpress only as a blogging tool you have the ability of publishing your work to your website quickly. If you choose to use Permalinks you are able to configure these to give you permanent links which is based on your blog post title. This will allow you to link back easily to other entries as well as helping you if you are attempting to improve your search engine rankings.

Also with Wordpress while you are blogging you can add tags which will allow the users easily search through your posts for certain topics, as well as feeding your search engines with this information. How To Choose A Winning Clickbank Affiliate Program

How To Choose A Winning Clickbank Affiliate Program

Do you know how to choose a winning Clickbank affiliate program? If you?re going to be promoting a product, it?s very useful to have good solid criteria you can use to determine if the program is going to be profitable for you. Some of the key things you should look at are Gravity score, competition, the salesletter, the payout and the price. Keep reading to learn about what exactly you should look for in each area.

Gravity Score

For beginners, it?s best to promote products in the 20 to 50 gravity range. These are products that have been proven to be successful sellers, but don?t have an overwhelming amount of competition. These are the products you want to shoot for.

Once you?re more experienced, you can aim at the 50+ gravity range. At no point in time should you aim below 20, because most of those products just won?t make you money.

Evaluate the Salesletter

Even if the product has a good gravity, that doesn?t mean it?ll sell for you. Sometimes Gravity scores are elevated by vendors artificially boosting the score by selling their own products through affiliate accounts.

Take a look at the salesletter and decide for yourself whether or not you think the product will sell.

Payout and Price

How much does the product cost and what does it pay out? As an affiliate, you should look for products that pay out at least $20 per sale. Anything below that amount generally isn?t worth your time.

Believe it or not, it?s as easy to sell a high ticket item as it is to sell a low ticket item. There are products on Clickbank that go for $97 - $197. If you can find a product that you believe you can promote and has a gravity of over 20, it?s generally a better idea to promote that product than it is to promote a $40 product.

Continuity

In addition to payout and price, one other thing you can look for is continuity. Continuity is basically a month by month membership program that will pay you commission every single month.

Again, it takes about as much effort to sell a product without continuity as it does to sell one with continuity. Except with continuity, you keep getting paid.

Competition

Is there competition that?s doing what you?re doing? Believe it or not, you actually want some competition in your area. That usually means other people are making money doing what you?re considering doing.

For example, if you plan on advertising a hypnosis product on AdWords, you want to see other advertisers selling hypnosis eBooks on AdWords. If there are no competitors, then chances are someone?s tried it before and it didn?t work.

That said, you don?t want to go into an over saturated niche either. Too many competitors are almost as bad as no competitors.

To Sum it Up

To sum it up, you?re looking for a medium gravity, high payout product with a good salesletter and some competition. If you can match up all these factors, then you?ve got a very good product to start selling for money.

How to generate traffic using StumbleUpon

How to generate traffic using StumbleUpon

StumbleUpon is a very popular and effective bookmarking site with
low bounce rates that you can use to generate quality traffic to
your website.

StumbleUpon has a low bounce rate which means that people who
find their way to your site stay longer on your site, which is
good for you as they spend time visiting your site's various
pages and subscribing to RSS feeds.

StumbleUpon is easy to use for generating traffic to your site;
all you have to do is sign at their website and on clicking their
'stumble' button you are taken to a site matching your interests
which you have to rate with a thumbs up or thumbs down.

It is only after you become part of the StumbleUpon community by
making friends with other StumbleUpon users will you be able to
use it to promote your website traffic.

Check the websites of other StumbleUpon users to rate their sites
so that they will also rate your site when you submit products,
services and blogs from your website.

By building your StumbleUpon profile, you look like a part of the
StumbleUpon community and not a person just looking to build
website traffic and thus make others interested in checking your
recommendations for things.

Create a StumbleUpon profile by filling up information about
yourself and your interests and upload an avatar that other
business people with similar interests may relate with to trade
links and banners with you for advertising reasons.

You have to build up your StumbleUpon friends' list as it is only
if enough people give your submitted site a thumb up will it
become popular.

StumbleUpon friends will help increase your web traffic and web
popularity as they rate your site with a thumbs up as you do for
them.

If you have a blog, writing about StumbleUpon and having link to
it on your website are affective means of generating website
traffic to your site.

With the help of these tips, you will start to StumbleUpon

Corporate Internet Marketing Strategy-Internet Marketing Not As New As Some Believe

Corporate Internet Marketing Strategy-Internet Marketing Not As New As Some Believe

There is a lot of attention being paid to the world of internet marketing, but it isn't as new as some media outlets would like us to believe. Having a corporate internet marketing strategy is more important than ever, and not having one could be costing your business a lot of money. It's easy to get confused with all of the information floating around on the topic, but let's try to clear some of it up so you can take advantage of all the internet has to offer you and your business.

"Why are you in business?"

"To make money!"

That's all there is to it, right. After all, you wouldn't be in business if you weren't planning on making money. While that would be one of the reasons you are business, it's not actually what will make you money. Your customers don't care about your desire to make money; if they did, they would just give you money without you giving them anything in return. That simply doesn't happen in the real world.

Your corporate internet marketing strategy has to be based on what your customers want, not what you want. To be more specific, your strategy needs to highlight the benefits to your customer (what they want) so you can generate higher profits (what you want). Before you can give them what they want, you need to know who your ideal customers are and what it is that they really want.

The cool thing is that the internet is an ideal way to get your marketing message out there, and it can be done for a relatively low investment when compared to traditional advertising. Of course you should also include traditional media in your marketing campaigns, but be sure they complement your online marketing and vice-versa.

Internet marketing covers everything you do online that could be even remotely associated with your business. A comment on a message board, a blog post, an update to your personal Facebook page, anything, anywhere will all add to the public perception of you and your business. That doesn't mean you should be afraid to have an online presence, but it does mean that you should carefully consider everything you say and do online.

There may have been a time when a business, any business, could gain a foothold in the market by simply having a website, but those days are long gone. However, if you don't have a website and a full corporate internet marketing strategy then you are losing ground to your competition. Speaking of competition, it has changed, too. It used to be that you knew who your competition was and that they were of the same relative size as your business. Today, your competition could be a single person with little more than an internet connection.

It's debatable whether there was ever time when you didn't need an online strategy, but there is no doubt that you now need a corporate internet marketing strategy if you wish to have a successful business.

Bad Business Vs No Business For Small Business Owners

Bad Business Vs No Business For Small Business Owners

Should we turn business away as compared to getting into business deals, which are bad? The truth to this is that some business is always better as compared to no business. What we need to do within this article is define what is actually ?bad?.

What is bad business?

Bad business is essentially what costs small business owners dearly. This could possibly mean that these bad transactions could end up costing more than it is worth in the end. If you have shelled out money for materials, time, labor and money only to receive something not up to your company standard, then you have lost money on that particular job. Taking these, types of deals incur more money than you received for the finished product or service.

Follow your gut instinct

More times to none, business owners take on more work than they feel comfortable with in the beginning. Some will have a bad feeling about the transaction or maybe even suspect they will not receive payment or the customer has such unrealistic expectations that the business owners knows will not be fulfilled.

Make sure there is communication between both parties involved

You should make every effort to make sure that no matter the transaction, the deal is precise and profitable with the terms and conditions made clear as well as understood by both parties involved. This will ensure that both parties will be happy. One cannot avoid bad business deals from never happening but a little common sense can aid greatly with these ventures.

Do not believe that bad business is better than no business

Today our nation is experiencing very difficult times. Some will even state that although you lost money on a particular job that your name is still out there being networked and this makes the loss worth it, this is not always true in my book. Generally, the people who state this have very deep pockets and can afford the losses but for a struggling small business owner who has just started their business, jobs such as this can lead the company to failure.

What causes bad business?

Bad small businesses come out of a breakdown in the relationship between you and your small business. Through the misunderstanding of an expectation, you come to realize that often the expensive lawsuits result from jobs or transactions such as this; it is not worth it in the end to continually deal with bad business. You must adjust and learn from these deals, which have turned bad. It is obvious that no business is preferable to bad business. Bad business turns costly over time as well as time consuming and the bad publicity gained from this is horribly bad for business.

Through determination on the part of your small business, you should never leave details up for chance. You must ensure all parties involved with business deals are in full agreement unless you want these dealings to minimize your customers as well as your income.

Four things successful business people will do today...that you won't!

Four things successful business people will do today...that you won't!

by Dr. Jeffrey Lant

Friend, let's get one thing straight from the get-go. Successful people are going to do things today that you won't. Read this, and you'll discover what they are.

1) Successful people don't just let today happen.... they plan for today... yesterday!

What did you do before you left your office yesterday? If you're successful, you planned your success for today, determining your clear objectives and laying out the documents, materials, and other things you need.

In other words, you knew what you'd need, and you had it readily at hand so you could, without special effort, pick up first thing today what you so carefully planned.... yesterday.

Organization, a constant focus on time management and efficiency, not caffeine , are what the successful bring to the table. They cannot and do not consider yesterday concluded... until it is organized as the spring board to a successful today.

2) Email a stupendous offer just before you leave your work.

Want to walk in tomorrow to sales? To lots of great prospect leads?

Then email a terrific offer BEFORE you leave.

Most people, bushed, fatigued, tired, upon leaving their offices are contemplating the pleasures of the rest of today. But not the successful.

Successful people are mad keen on organization and efficiency... and constant bank account pleasing cash flow. They know that today's dollars are the result of yesterday's offers. Successful business people force themselves to stay, no matter how tired they are, no matter how pleasurable the day's forthcoming events, until they have crafted the stunning offer that ensures cash flow throughout the hours they are not present.

This offer must be a lollapalooza... the best yet.

As I write, much of the United States, much of the rest of the world is mired in an anaemic economic recovery that is, at best, just limping along.

Yet, by staying focused at all times on the main event, successful business people will flourish and achieve even the most ambitious of business and financial goals.

The key is having cash readily at hand.... and the means to generate more.... at will.

This means offers, better offers, the best offers, never-ending offers.

Because you will be tired at the end of the day, craft your end-of-day offers earlier. To ensure that it delivers the big success you insist upon, shape that offer when your mind is fresh and your abilities keen. Aim to make your offer better than you have ever made before; aim to make it a stunner, head turning, a cash gusher.

What the most successful business people know is that cash is king, especially when other people, people who do not have and do not use such offers, don't have it. If you focus as on your #1 Priority the shaping and constant sending of eye-popping offers you will have the cash, and thus the freedom, your less focused and clever colleagues lack and will always lack.

3) Call three prospects who have been hanging on the fence, uncertain about buying, and tell them you have the talking turkey offer of all times... if they will act now.

Offers come in many shapes and sizes... but one thing they all have in common is the "act now" factor. Offers to work must have deadlines... and the very best offers mean prompt, immediate response... no dithering allowed.

Most people, you see, even most business people, dither, offering excuses when decisive action is called for. In fact most people are not decision makers; rather, they are decision avoiders. The offer is made for such people, for only a truly superior offer will get these torpid ones to act at all, much less act on your speedy schedule.

Now, be honest. Did you, before leaving your office yesterday, call at least three people with a special, once-in-a-lifetime, knock 'em, sock 'em offer?

Or did you just turn off the lights and lock the door?

Want money? Then outline a "for my best customers" offer... and call them to discuss it. (You may also use email to send the offer... but never expect such an email to close the deal. For that the phone is the key).

Pick up the phone, I say, and, upon reaching these prime (if delaying) prospects, verbally embrace them, "Mary, you and I have been in contact for many years. I was thinking of you and wanted to make you a spectacular offer. Have you got a minute?" Then deliver the offer of offers, tellingly delivered, resoundingly delivered, convincingly delivered. This is a Special Offer.... for a Special Person. Deliver it accordingly.

4) Select 5 customers and give them a special unexpected gift.

People have always liked and will always like to get presents. It makes us feel wanted, warm inside. The most important people in your business are your customers; we all know that. However, what have you done lately to warm the cockles of their hearts? Not much, right? Change that today.

Pick a few customers, 5 is a good number, and give them a special gift, report, some free product, any kind of emolument... something that says simply, honestly, "I value you!" Then send it out.

Your customers will be pleased, gratified, impressed. No wonder. In our busy world, too few take even a little time to do the right thing; that thing that identifies you as a quality individual, well deserving of such customers. Out of the enhanced good will such valued offerings engender will come business, lots of business. You deserve it.

Are you going to be the business success you say you want?

You now know what to do. The question, therefore, is whether you will do it,and when.

24 hours from now, as you reflect upon this day, you will know just how successful you will be, based on what you have (or have not) done. It won't take any longer than that to see how well you're going to do. You see, now as always, the success you get (or forego) will be upon the actions you take and how well you do them. In short, it's all about you.

Bon voyage.

Solid Advice For Using Video In Social Media Marketing

Solid Advice For Using Video In Social Media Marketing

Do you already understand the power of social media marketing, but are still unsure how you can implement it into your business plan? Social media is always opening doors for new companies, but if you approach it incorrectly it won't be as advantageous as you would like. You can follow this article's advice and learn the proper way to create a standing company via quality media.

Use the questions and answer feature of LinkedIn. LinkedIn's Q&A works like a large discussion forum: look up questions related to your products or industry and write useful answers to them. You could also post a link to one of your articles if you do not have time to write something.

While having various ads on social media sites, you should definitely have a few special deals for your business. This will give your potential buyers incentive to click on your ad. By having specials on your ads, and only on these ads, the customers feel slightly more obligated to go there and see what your business has to offer.

Invest in ad space on Facebook or other websites. These ads are targeted towards users who have used certain keywords related to your business in their status updates. You should get a lot of targeted visitors who will learn about your products even if they do not decide to 'like' your page.

Make sure you post new pictures regularly on Facebook or Twitter. Your friends and followers probably have a lot of content appear in their feeds, and they will be more likely to notice a picture rather than a text. You could very easily create different photo galleries for your products.

Conduct Facebook polls. Using the the "question" feature on Facebook, you can develop a poll to ask your followers a question. It can be about their thoughts on a new product, their opinion on how you're doing with customer service or anything else to which you'd like an answer. This keeps them engaged. When your followers feel more involved, they identify more closely with your brand or product.

If you send out periodic newsletters, always provide a link to your website's Facebook page within it. This provides those people who receive your newsletter but might not realize you're on Facebook to "like" you or follow you. The more opportunities you provide for people to connect with you, the more likely they will.

Develop a fan base. If your products can confer a sense of individuality to your customers, you can use social media to strengthen this idea. Post pictures of the typical product user and write updates about common issues among your target audience. Your followers will recognize themselves in the image you are creating.

Social media is an extremely vast and powerful tool. It should be something that all business owners squeeze into their marketing plans, despite their other advertising routes. It will work perfectly with any options you have already started developing and won't require an entire rework of your core scheme. However, it is important that you follow the advice given and always focus on reaching a better future.

How does Worldprofit help people in OTHER opportunities and affiliate programs build their online business?

How does Worldprofit help people in OTHER opportunities and affiliate programs build their online business?

Interview with George Kosch:

I sat down today for an interview with George Kosch, co-founder and Technical Director at Worldprofit Inc.

George Kosch is one of those refreshingly down-to-earth techies that doesn't speak above your head. He's a gifted programmer and for the last twenty years has been the technical visionary that has created the platform for all Worldprofit products and services. Worldprofit provides training, support and unique proprietary software to help people work and profit from home using the power of the internet.

Question: George, Worldprofit offers a Reseller program called a Dealership, that allows people to earn income by promoting your company's services but how can Worldprofit help those who have their own programs, affiliates and business opportunities already?

Says George: "Some people come to Worldprofit looking to make money online and have nothing to sell, so we provide hundreds of recommended trusted products and services that can be sold and delivered online. Others come to Worldprofit and they're already involved in any number of online affiliate programs. They have something to sell, they just don't have any idea how to do that. Or they have tried and not had any success or earnings to show for it.

So first we teach people how to promote. Online marketing is new to most people. Most have no idea where to start, what to promote, where to promote and what you have to do to get results.

We offer an online training program, called our Home Business Bootcamp. We have something for newbies and for advanced marketers in our 75 lesson plan that allows Members to progress at their own pace and learn as they earn.

In our online training, we teach marketing fundamentals including:

landing pages
lead capture
list building strategies
SEO techniques
Blogging
Article Marketing
E-book creation
Promotion and Advertising
Prospect management
Newsletters
Ad Tracking
Web Stats
Offer Building
Free versus paid advertising
how to recognize bogus advertising sources
how to recognize legitimate advertising sources
Social Networking

George went on to say.

"We also teach our Members how to use the tools and resources included in our membership along with our self-developed strategies to promote any and all their online businesses.

The model for promoting online is the same no matter what you are promoting. We like to say we teach our Members how to ride a bike by teaching them the Worldprofit system, once learned they can then ride any bike, and apply the marketing principles to build any online business.

One of the advantages we have at Worldprofit is that after being around for twenty years, we have formed many partnerships and also developed complimentary sites and services that benefit our Members. This permits us enormous leverage for making offers, buying advertising, traffic and doing exchanges which our Members can tap into exclusively and use for promoting ANY online business, product or service."

Question: George, what makes Worldprofit different?

"We are a 100% hands-on company. We teach people how to market using tools, and strategies that we ourselves use consistently, or have developed and tested ourselves. As a programmer and as a marketer myself, I have my finger on the pulse of the industry. I can spot trends, identify needs, and build exactly what our members need. We recognize that there are lots of peddlers out there making promises who don't stand behind what they sell. At Worldprofit we support the products and services we offer with our stand-out support team, 365 days of the year. This is unheard of in our industry and is what makes Worldprofit an industry leader. We continually update our Home Business Bootcamp training lessons, we include video training tutorials, and we have LIVE weekly interactive training so our Members are never left without support or help as required. Our Worldprofit Live Business Center holds the record for longest continual webcast, operating 24 hours a day. There are tons of software products out there, the difference we offer is that we are here to help people when they need it. It's not the software or latest gadget that is going to help you build your successful online business, it's training, and support offered by real people in the industry working along side of you. That's what we do at Worldprofit, we work daily with our Members. We are connected and reliant on our Members just as much as they are to us.

Question: George, I understand the company just celebrated it's 19th birthday, what to you see is the future for Worldprofit for the next 20 years?

"Online business opportunities have exploded in recent years, and that has meant our sales at Worldprofit have grown 10 fold. We have now surpassed 1.5 million free members and are on our way shortly to 2 million members. People like the idea of working from home, and the web has introduced unlimited earning opportunities, something for everyone. At Worldprofit we offer our own Reseller program but we have very much evolved into a training company in the last ten years especially, as people appreciate that affiliate marketing as a legitimate way to make extra money. As more people participate in online earning programs they all need one thing - help in promoting whatever business they choose. That's where we pride ourselves, in doing the research and development to put into the hands of our Members, exactly what they need to build a successful online business - no matter what that business or affiliate program. Technology is always changing, there is no standing still in this industry. We must always be working hard to keep our members happy and appreciative of the value we offer at Worldprofit and we plan to keep doing just that."

Thank you George for your time today.

What’s Going on with Facebook Marketing Right Now?

What’s Going on with Facebook Marketing Right Now?

Facebook marketing is the new trend that is sweeping the world right now. With morethan half a billion active users of this website, it has become more than just a social networking website. Today, this is an entire market that online entrepreneurs are tapping into for seeking their business profits.

However, even within the arena of Facebook marketing, there has been a sea of change recently. People are using newer and different methods of bringing their products out into the open through this social networking portal, and this is only facilitated more because of applications such as FB Maxed 2011. These applications give people several options to effectively showcase their businesses to their group of people on Facebook and even attract other people from their target niche to their business profiles.

One of the recent trends that entrepreneurs are involved in right now is posting theirbusiness websites on their Facebook profiles. This was not possible until lately, but nowby using new iMarket features, applications like FB Maxed are making that possible. You can post your website on your Facebook profile now, and make it interactive aswell.

This applies to webpages of considerable lengths. The entire webpage is taken in and displayed on the profile. People are able to embed videos and add some ecommerce features as well.

The biggest potential of Facebook is that people can build networks. For business persons, it means that they can build their list of leads, which they can look upon as prospects for furthering their business. Now, these new Facebook profile pages that allow websites also allow all those opt-in features that help people to build their lists.

You can convert all your Facebook visitors into a potential lead database that you can promote your product to if you so wanted.

Earlier, with the Facebook Markup Language that was used, there were several restrictions on how Facebook could be used by entrepreneurs. Recently, this markup language has taken a backseat and people are using new options like HTML5, which isgiving a new leash to the limits that people can use their Facebook profiles to.

It is a wonderful world of opportunities that has been created. At present, more than 50% of the people who shop online regularly have Facebook profiles. Hence, it is only but logical that entrepreneurs use this platform to give the boost to their business that they are looking for. Recent trends indicate that entrepreneurs are not allowing any such opportunity pass.
